Meet The Team – Jonson Li, Help Desk Technician
Meet Jonson our supportive help desk engineer, who loves tinkering with all things technical. When he isn’t helping our clients, Jonson loves to explore the roads and highways of Australia and spending time developing his musical ability.
When did you start at Centrix?
I started in October 2014. Before joining Centrix I was a systems engineer for a company that sold PC Power Management Software to Government and Educational institutions. I looked after internal systems, attended sales meetings and delivered technical support.
What’s the best part of your job?
The exposure and opportunity to work with a wide range of systems and technology. My old job got a bit monotonous after a while as most of the time I was working with the same product over and over again. Centrix is very different in that we are supporting so many different companies and there’s so many different things to learn.
What’s the most fun thing you do outside of work?
I like learning how to play the ukelele. I play pretty badly but it’s fun to learn it. I love going on road trips. I went on a road trip to the North Coast and looped around via Armidale. I love going to gatherings with friends and learning about spirituality and Christianity.
What are you famous for?
I’m famous for being very quiet. I’m not a big talker, unless I’m talking to clients and it’s a technical subject. I tend to run out of things to say when it comes to small talk but I’ve got plenty to say when I’m talking about technical things.
Your favourite motto
Albert Einstein, “Nothing will improve the chances of human survival more than the evolution to a vegetarian diet”. I’m a supporter of a vegetarian diet.
