Infrastructure Consultant


Position Summary:

  • The role of an Infrastructure Consultant is to provide a wide variety of technical services to our clients. These services include but are not limited to onsite systems administration, performing proactive and reactive technical support and the design and implementation of our solutions. All Infrastructure Consultants are expected to provide exceptional customer service and perform all duties with the company’s core beliefs and objectives in mind at all times.

  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)

Required certificates and experience:

  • Completion of MCITP or MCSE + 2 other industry certifications (ie VMware, Citrix, Dell, Cisco, Juniper, SonicWall)
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Driver’s license and motor vehicle

Detailed position description:

  • Be the final point of escalation for all technical issues before escalating to management or vendors as required
  • Be responsible for handling major system outages and critical events and taking responsibility for the resolution from beginning to end
  • Project manage and monitor projects completed by other team members form a technical perspective
  • Implementation of complex IT&T projects
  • Assist in the sales process from a pre-sales technical perspective including:
    -Attend client meetings and provide constructive technical input in a professional manner
    -Documentation of requirements
    -Research and solution design
    -Creation of Bill of Materials (BOM) documents
    -Create client documents such as site reviews and audit documents
    -Presentations to clients
    -Creation of Scope of Work (SOW) documents
    -Implementation or handoff to other members of the technical team
  • Stay on top of all core technologies used within the business and keep on top of any major product developments from a technical perspective
  • Outstanding levels of customer service in terms of documentation, verbal and written client communications and a very high level of client satisfaction
  • Look out for Quality issues when attending our client’s sites and ensure all sites are up to standard
